Wireless network in the Town Hall, Ljusdal

A wireless network is installed on the ground floor of the Town Hall in Ljusdal. The network gives you free internet connection. You can choose to connect to the internet anywhere on the ground floor: in the library, in the square or at Cafe NyFiket. The equipment you need is a laptop on battery power and a network card for wireless connection. No log-in is required. Note: since the network is free and open, you should have antivirus and firewall installed and enabled on your computer. The network is available during the opening hours of the library. Desktop loan computers in the libraries

In the libraries in of Ljusdal, Järvsö, Färila, Los and Ramsjö you can borrow desktop computers with free internet surfing. These computers are available for one-hour sessions (maximum) during the libraries' opening hours and need to be booked in advance. In order to book, call the library, or ask for available times when you are visiting.

In the Ljusdal library computers with free internet access can also be booked for studying. These computers can be booked for sessions of ½-4 hours. In order to book, call the library or ask for available times when you are visiting.
